Halesworth and the Suffolk Heritage Coast

Halesworth is an ideal centre for touring both the Suffolk Heritage Coast and the inland Suffolk and Norfolk area.

The picturesque coastal town Southwold is only 9 miles away, with Walberswick, Dunwich, the Minsmere RSPB reserve, Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings further south.

Inland, the pretty historic towns of Bungay, Beccles and Harlesden lie a few miles north along the river Waveney.

The highly recommended St Peter's Hall Brewery is a few miles away. This moated medieval hall serves fine ale brewed from its own spring water, with an excellent food and wine menu.
